Qualifications for ESIC Registration

If there are more than ten employees (in some states it is 20 employees) with a salary up to Rs. 21,000/-, the establishment must register with the ESIC within 15 days of becoming eligible for registration. An employer will contribute 3.25 % of the total monthly salary of his employees under this scheme, while the employee will only be expected to contribute 0.75% of his monthly salary.
