If a business entity takes a trademark registration, it will be able to use certain symbols or even words that represent the business as well as its products or services. As a result, they will be able to distinguish themselves from their competitors and rivals by offering unique products and services. No other individual or business entity may take a trademark registration that has been taken by one individual or business entity. In many ways, it acts as a brand asset that would help the company protect its credibility and identity through its brand name.
